DISABILITIES PROGRAM

Customers with disabilities are served like any JobLink customer, though their referrals may come from organizations and agencies designed specifically to serve those who are disabled. Once the customer begins the program, the individual is provided with special services and assistive technology, counseling and mentoring for successful completion and job placement. A Job Placement Specialist and an Assistive Technology Technician directly serve the customers. Additionally they educate, support, and counsel employers about hiring individuals with disabilities.
Eligibility Requirements

1. Verification of Disability
2. Resident of Alexandria
3. Eligible to work in the United States

Please bring the following documents to JobLink

1. Valid Photo Identification
2. Social Security Card
3. Verification of Residency – (utility bill with current Alexandria address)
4. Passport, Work Permit, or Permanent Residency Permit
5. Social Security Insurance (SSI); Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI); OR pay stub within the previous six (6) months
