TITLE V – SENIORS PROGRAM


Title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965 is a program designed to provide part-time employment for low-income persons age 55 or over. Program participants who work at community and government agencies are paid the higher salary based on Federal or State minimum wage. Seniors can receive training that can also lead to other employment opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements
1. 55 years old or older
2. Income level cannot exceed 125% of the poverty level
3. Resident of Alexandria
4. Eligible to work in the United States

1. Valid Photo Identification
2. Social Security Card
3. Pay Stubs from previous six (6) months OR W/2 from prior year (if spouse receives an income, same information is required)
