VIRGINIA REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM (VRRP)


The Virginia Refugee Resettlement Program assists men, women and children who have been forced to flee their homelands because of wars, armed conflicts, fear of persecution or gross violations of human rights. In 2002, VRRP served people from Somalia, Ethiopia, Bosnia, Sudan, Vietnam, Pakistan, Russia, Iraq, Rawanda, Sierra Leon, and Cameroon. VRRP helps refugees adapt to their new lives in America.

Eligibility Requirements
1. Verification of Refugee or Asylee Status from Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
2. Preference Given to Refugee/Asylee in United States two (2) Years or Less
3. Refugee/Asylee in United States over two (2) years Not Eligible for VRRP Program

Please bring the following documents to JobLink
1. Valid Photo Identification with Alexandria Address
2. I-94 Form
3. Social Security Card
